“Hundreds of thousands gathered in London to watch the 11-minute fireworks display under the London Eye, triggered by Big Ben’s chimes. There was a 2012 Games theme to the spectacle, with many fireworks in the shape and colours of the Olympic rings.” according to BBC.
When I was taking this shot, I had a slow shutter speed where I confidently zoomed out a bit and got this kind of lights busting effect. Many countless people who saw the photo always commented “Looks like Star Trek lights”. To tell the truth, I’ve never ever watched Star Trek or Star Wars.
