Human Statue/ Living Statue

Living Statue

“The term living statue/ human statue refers to a mime artist who poses like a statue or mannequin, usually with realistic statue-like makeup, sometimes for hours at a time.”, according to Wikipedia.

The one in this photo was taken at the London eye on a sunny day during easter holidays. In respect to his art, I left 1GBP for this Living Statue/ Human Statue before I started walking around him taking photos from different viewpoints.

This Living Statue looks like some kind of scholar to me as he is holding a file in his hand. The attire he has chosen is very unique from other Living Statues that I have ever seen. Also, when you pay money for him, he bows down to show his appreciation.

As you can see, this living statue/ human statue was standing so still that I was able to capture a really sharp photo of him. Before taking this shot, I slightly off centered the Living Statue/ Human Statue in my viewfinder and made sure I captured the Big Ben as a back drop perfectly. Overall, I’m happy with the results. :)
